What is Community Supported Apothecary?

The Wild Willow Wellness Community Supported Apothecary (CSA) subscriptions are an expression of our desire to connect deeply with our community of Helena, Montana through edible annuals, perennials, and herbs.  Just as a traditional Community Supported Agriculture share from your local vegetable farm provides you with delicious vegetables throughout the year, we offer you a share of our harvests from our local Helena perennial farm in the form of organic botanical products in a Seasonal Wellness Kit. The products in your kit include delicious culinary herbs, healing salves, soothing teas, nutrient dense elixirs and syrups, and other supportive herbal remedies, all handcrafted in small batches in our apothecary using the highest quality harvests of herbs, berries, flowers, and vegetables. Many of the ingredients are grown directly our small urban farm. No matter what time of year you sign up, you'll be able to look forward to a yearlong engagement with healing plants grown with joy.

Wild Willow Wellness Massage

Our bodyworkers are skilled in deep tissue, hot stone, myofascial release, trigger point, neuromuscular therapy, cupping, and other therapies. If you are just coming to relax, we provide a gentle and soothing touch. Coming to heal pain or recover from an accident or post surgery? We are skilled in these areas as well. We also have a special prenatal table for women during any stage of pregnancy. All our products are organic, and the studio itself is free of any chemical cleaning agents, free of plastics. Come a bit early for your massage and find a library of interesting books and sip on a cup of organic herbal tea or purified water.

What Clients Are Saying

“I love Jesse’s oxymel and liver tincture. I’ve always been really attracted to herbs, and the amount of love and care that goes into Jesse’s products is fantastic! With our rich Montana ecosystem, why would I order herbals that come from god only knows where, probably oversees, when I can support our local Helena Apothecary. And I get to be a part of a whole network of wonderful people here in Helena that seriously value the health of their bodies, families, and larger community. Wild Willow is awesome! I’m in for the long haul.” ( J.S. )

Plant & Human Intelligence Intersect

Hi friends! I’m Jesse. I’m mom to a wonderful daughter, step-daughter, step-son, pup, and many chickens, living with my husband, a ceramic artist, on our local urban farm.  We may have already met in person. Maybe we’ve already worked together as I’ve worn a few different hats in my 45 years. Or perhaps you have just landed here and you’re curious to know a little more about me and what I do.

I believe in the intelligence of plants and animals (including humans), and how that intersects is fascinating to me. My work has always centered upon helping humans live better lives. I’m always striving for that myself. And where I’ve landed in the past 7 years is that we need a healthy ecosystem to be able to feel good and be in a position to make the best choices for ourselves.

My farm, apothecary, and massage practice rolled into a single business is one small way that I believe I can contribute to the heath and resilience of my community. I love the saying, Think Globally, Act Locally.
